Network Administrator (Experienced)
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
Administer LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures across multiple office sites.
Implement routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) with redundancy and failover.
Manage VLAN segmentation, IP address management, and bandwidth optimization.
Conduct proactive monitoring of network performance (latency, jitter, uptime).
Deploy and manage enterprise security tools MDM, NAC, DLP, SIEM integrated with Active Directory.
Investigate network and security incidents, prepare RCA, and define preventive actions.
Conduct periodic patching, firmware upgrades, and vulnerability assessments.
Manage firewall policies, intrusion prevention, and endpoint compliance rules.
Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to align with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR.
Provide Level 2/3 escalation support for end-user, application, and infrastructure issues.
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for escalations, contract renewals, and SLA adherence.
Maintain detailed documentation network topologies, configuration backups, SOPs.
Support disaster recovery planning, failover testing, and infrastructure upgrades.
Stay updated with emerging networking and security technologies; recommend improvements.
Skills & Certifications:
47 years of experience in enterprise network & IT security administration.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and enterprise-grade network tools.
Experience with SIEM, endpoint management, and NAC/DLP/MDM integration.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and RCA reporting skills.
Preferred Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE (4+), CompTIA Security+, Palo Alto PCNSE, ITIL Foundation.
