Job Responsiblities:
WAN Operations - incident management, L1 troubleshooting, working with ISPs and internal users and resolve the issues. First line engineer for network tickets. Troubleshoot and resolve it if is L1 level issue or assign to appropriate L2 network engineer. Work closely with IT Monitoring Team to review network alerts, analyze tickets and produce monthly availability & performance reports. Inventory of global WAN infrastructure connectivity based on specified parameters and maintain documentation. Ensure that all devices are integrated with network monitoring systems that provide alerts. Create and maintain a network knowledge base and operational Run Book. Perform L1 tasks like VLAN assignment, create Change requests, follow up on ISP maintenances. Execute upgrades and patches for network devices in accordance with the lifecycle management process. To arrange / review new link & upgrade orders, termination/cancellation orders, follow up on delivery updates, raise disputes, create service credit requests, review invoices, link inventory management, spend analysis reporting.
