Main Responsibilities
I. Network Administration
1. Network Device Management
Manage, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Regularly update firmware and monitor network performance.
Troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, and disconnection issues.
Configure network services such as VLAN, VPN, ACL, DHCP, and DNS.
2. Network Operation Monitoring
Monitor network status using monitoring tools (such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
Handle network alarms and respond promptly.
Ensure network security and data transmission stability.
3. Network Document Management
Update network topology diagrams.
Record device configuration and change logs.
Manage IP address allocation tables.
II. Desktop Support
4. Terminal Device Support
Provide support for employees computers, laptops, printers, and telephone systems.
Perform operating system installation, upgrades, and patch updates.
Troubleshoot hardware failures and provide solutions.
5. Software and System Support
Install and configure enterprise applications (Microsoft 365, Outlook, VPN). Client-side tasks, etc.
Handle account creation, permission changes, password resets, etc.
Resolve various software conflicts and system crashes.
6. User Technical Support (1st & 2nd Level Support)
Process Helpdesk tickets
Remotely support user issues (e.g., using TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP)
Guide users on the safe use of company IT resources.
III. IT Operations Related Tasks
7. Security and Compliance
Execute network security policies and regularly check firewall and patch updates.
Monitor endpoint antivirus status.
Manage access control and file sharing permissions.
8. Equipment and Asset Management
Manage IT inventory: computers, network cables, switches, mini-servers, etc.
Perform asset registration and disposal management.
Supervise backup plans and regularly test recovery functionality.
9. Collaboration and Projects
Assist with IT projects, such as network upgrades, system migrations, and data center renovations.
Coordinate repair, procurement, and installation services with suppliers.
Job Requirements
1. Skills Required
Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, security policies, etc.
Familiar with mainstream network equipment (Cisco, HPE, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, etc.)
Proficient in Windows/macOS systems
Proficient in Active Directory and Office 365 management
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
2. Experience
13 years of IT support or network-related experience
Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or other certifications preferred
3. Personal Qualities
Strong communication skills, able to quickly locate problems
Good stress resistance, adaptable to multitasking
Strong service awareness, patient, and reliable
