NetCracker Solution Architect - COLT

Skills required

• At least 11 - 15 years of experience working as an Architect in the Telco order management with knowledge of NetCracker product specifically alongwith fulfilment, inventory, OSS domain.
• Proven ability to define complex IT solution comprising multiple systems and interfaces.
• Proven ability in leading a design team
• Ability to manage end-to-end design from solution design to operational readiness
• Knowledge of IP network archietctures, concepts and products including IP routing, MPLS, IP-VPN, IP Access / Transit, Ethernet
• Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Job Summary: Colt is introducing a new software defined networking platfom to activate services within the Colt network estate. The role is as the lead fulfilment architect is to define the archietcture and design linking together Order management, inventory and activation to ensure the automated / semi-automated filfilment of B2B services. Note this is an IT Architect role and NOT a network design / architect role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of IP service fulfilment solution aligning with the companys tactical & strategic goals and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within the set timelines.
• Prepare high-level design, assumptions, risks, dependencies, issues, and decisions.
• Support the programme in defining proejct structure, development approach and test strategy.
• Ensure the project adheres to the Colt archietcural guidelines and best practices solution archietcture and design.
• Manage a team of 3 other designers working on the activation project ensuring high quality and timely deliveries.
