Job Purpose
Drives engineering excellence by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions, ensuring code quality, system reliability, and adherence to development standards, while enabling effective delivery across the software lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive maintenance and support of legacy applications, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability of business-critical systems
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to analyze and understand legacy codebases, system architecture, and complex business logic with limited documentation.
- Act as a knowledge enabler by using AI tools to document system behavior, workflows, and dependencies, improving team onboarding and knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution with minimal business impact
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing AI-assisted workflows, improving documentation, and enhancing support and development processes
- Other duties as assigned. (Mandatory).
Required Experience And Skills
- 8- 10 Years of Strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies, with proven experience in migrating and modernizing legacy applications to current platforms.
- Working knowledge of Delphi is considered an added advantage
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system and production issues
- Proven experience in designing and architecting scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Delphi-based applications
- Extensive experience in working with relational databases like SQL Server and optimizing data access and performance
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and best practices in software engineering
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
