A fast-paced organization in the IT Services & Enterprise Application Development sector delivering scalable, cloud-ready web applications and integration platforms for enterprise clients across finance, healthcare and logistics. This is an on-site engineering role based in India focused on building and operating production-grade .NET services and APIs.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and web applications using C# and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core in an on-site delivery model.
- Build and document RESTful APIs and backend integrations; implement efficient data access using Entity Framework and optimized T-SQL.
- Participate in full SDLC: translate requirements into scalable designs, write unit/integration tests, and deliver via CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and performance metrics, and implement fixes to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of architecture and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver timely releases and support on-site stakeholder interactions.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- Proven hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Experience with Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Proficiency designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Practical experience with Git and unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build automation (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Ability to work full-time on-site in India and engage directly with local engineering teams
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and PaaS services
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization
- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or API gateway patterns
