- Assist in the conceptual and detailed design of ships, offshore platforms, and other marine structures.
- Perform hydrodynamic and structural analysis to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Use specialized software tools for modeling, simulation, and design validation.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings as needed.
- Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and design methodologies to improve the efficiency and safety of marine structures.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in naval architecture and marine engineering.
- Ensure that designs adhere to international and local maritime regulations, as well as class society requirements.
- Assist in obtaining necessary certifications and approvals from relevant authorities.
- Participate in quality assurance processes, including testing and inspection of designs and prototypes.
- Address any design issues or discrepancies identified during the quality assurance process.
- Conduct stability calculations for vessels, ensuring compliance with IMO, SOLAS, and other relevant regulations.
- Perform intact and damaged stability analyses for ship designs, retrofits, and conversions.
- Familiar with EEXI,EEDI & cii calculation.
