Role Overview
The National Technical Manager Valuation will lead and manage valuation functions across India, ensuring standardized practices, regulatory compliance, and strong risk control in property assessment activities. The role involves driving technical governance, improving valuation quality, and building a unified valuation framework for Pan-India operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage valuation activities across India on a national scale.
- Establish uniform valuation policies, frameworks, and SOPs across all regions.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of valuation reports nationwide.
- Empanel and manage external valuation agencies and independent valuers across locations.
- Conduct technical audits, validations, and periodic quality assessments.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal audit standards.
- Address valuation deviations, fraud risks, and technical discrepancies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to regional teams across India.
- Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams for aligned decision-making.
- Review MIS, analytics, and portfolio trends to identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Support business expansion, product development, and policy structuring with technical insights.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in real estate valuation across Residential, Commercial, Mortgage, and LAP portfolios.
- Deep understanding of legal, regulatory, and technical property matters.
- Proven experience managing multi-location / Pan-India valuation networks.
- Strong risk evaluation, audit, and technical validation capabilities.
- Leadership experience in handling cross-regional teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil) Mandatory.
- Government-Approved Valuer certification will be an added advantage.
- 1015 years of experience in valuation / technical roles within BFSI, NBFCs, or Housing Finance Companies.
- Demonstrated experience in handling Pan-India valuation operations or multi-regional technical teams.
