A Chartered Accountant with tax experience would be preferred. The work profile would involve independent handling of all TDS/ WHT compliances and support in all other Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing matters. Commitment to timelines/ deadlines, up-to-date knowledge of latest tax laws and emphasis on ensuring 100% tax compliances is expected.

How you create impact

Lead TDS & Withholding Tax compliance on the payable front (monthly, quarterly, annual filings).
Ensure accurate booking, reconciliation, and reporting of TDS on PAN India payments.
Manage annual application and receipt of Lower TDS Certificate for the company.
Support PAN India teams and vendors on TDS-related queries and return revision requests.
Provide support across the Direct Tax portfolio, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, audits, tax estimates, advance tax payments, assessments, litigations, data preparation, reconciliations, and record maintenance.
Extend ongoing support to the Direct Tax Lead on ad-hoc tax and compliance matters.

What we would like you to bring

1-2 years of hands-on experience in Direct Tax, particularly Income Tax.
Sound knowledge of direct tax laws and compliance requirements.
Prior experience in a Big 4 consulting firm would be an added advantage.
Exposure to direct tax matters within logistics or service industries is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
