Role And Responsibilities

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for planning and executing business development activities on a Pan-India basis. They will work closely with the sales team, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, Dealers, Distributors, Channel Partners, and Fabricators. The main responsibilities include:

  • Aggressively closing sales and demonstrating strong client negotiation skills
  • Handling existing customer networks while developing a new customer base
  • Providing support to the sales team in lead generation and follow-ups until conversion
  • Offering support to existing distributors and developing sub-channel sales across India
  • Achieving the overall organization's sales targets on a monthly and accumulated basis
  • Planning, organizing, leading, and conducting customer training seminars
  • Providing market inputs on competitor's activities
  • Liaising with the marketing and operations team of channel/project partners
  • Monitoring overdue payments and addressing outstanding issues
  • Sending MIS reports of sales team activities and achievements

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the National Sales Manager position should possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 10-12 years of relevant experience
  • Base location in Chennai with Pan-India work travel
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Tamil, and Hindi (mandatory)
