Job Title: Sales Head / National Sales Manager (NSM)

Location: Pan-India (Phase 1 focus: West Zone)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Sales Head / National Sales Manager to lead a fast-growing national sales function in a startup-like, high-agility environment. This role will drive zero-to-1 scale-up across hospital and healthcare segments for medical-grade hygiene and disinfection products, with strong ownership of revenue, teams, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Design and execute national sales strategies to achieve and exceed aggressive revenue targets.
  • Drive rapid market penetration and expansion across hospital and healthcare segments.
  • Own zero-to-1 scale-up initiatives with speed, accountability, and execution excellence.

Team Leadership & Scaling

  • Build, lead, mentor, and scale regional sales teams for pan-India coverage.
  • Set clear performance metrics, review rigorously, and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Enable teams with strong processes, training, and execution discipline.

Business Development & Key Accounts

  • Spearhead aggressive new business acquisition and channel expansion.
  • Lead senior-level key account engagement and enterprise hospital relationships.
  • Strengthen distributor, institutional, and strategic partner networks.

Tender & Rate Contract Management

  • Own end-to-end Rate Contract (RC) and tender management.
  • Ensure compliance, pricing discipline, and timely execution in hospital/government accounts.
  • Drive zero-to-1 tender wins with speed and precision.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Operations teams.
  • Align sales execution with product availability, compliance, and branding initiatives.

Performance, Analytics & Market Intelligence

  • Track sales metrics, CRM pipelines, forecasts, and productivity KPIs.
  • Use data and market insights to course-correct strategies proactively.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, pricing trends, and customer needs.

Industry Representation

  • Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and healthcare events.
  • Act as a growth ambassador and thought leader within the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
  • 812 years of sales leadership experience in hospital, hygiene, pharma, or healthcare products.
  • Proven experience in zero-to-1 scale-up, startup or high-growth environments.
  • Strong background in tenders, rate contracts, and institutional sales.
  • Deep knowledge of IPC protocols and disinfection solutions.
  • Aggressive go-getter mindset with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
