Role Overview
Looking for a National Sales Leader to drive growth across three key business verticals:
CapEx (Capital Projects)
OpEx (Lifecycle Services – AMC, upgrades, validation,etc)
Process Systems (Strategic Growth Area)
This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to senior leadership and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, and build a high-performance sales engine.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Revenue Ownership
Drive revenue growth across water, process, and lifecycle businesses
Build and scale the process vertical as a key growth engine, grow process vertical into a ₹75 100 Cr business (near-term focus)
Contribute to achieving the company's ₹500 Cr growth vision
Strengthen wallet share across existing customer base
Establish a disciplined, data-driven sales organization
2. Sales Leadership & Team Management
Lead and manage a national sales team (10–15 members)
Mentor, coach, and build a high-performance sales culture
Drive accountability, ownership, and execution discipline
3. Sales Strategy & Execution
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Improve conversion rates and deal closures
Implement structured sales processes:
o Forecasting
o Pipeline tracking
o Deal governance
4. Key Account & Solution Selling
Drive consultative, solution-based selling
Engage with senior stakeholders across:
o Project engineering
o Production
o Procurement / supply chain
Enhance customer lifecycle value and retention
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, delivery, and service teams
Contribute to overall business strategy and growth initiatives
Support adoption of digital tools and systems in sales processes
Candidate Profile
Experience
15–25 years of experience in:
o Pharma / biotech / process industries
Track Record
Proven ability to close high-value deals
Experience managing or contributing to ₹200–250 Cr+ business
Strong record of driving business growth and scaling teams
Technical & Domain Understanding
Good understanding of:
o Pharma water systems
oProcess systems
Ability to engage in solution-driven discussions with customers
Relationships & Market Access
Strong network across pharma / biotech ecosystem
Ability to build and leverage customer relationships quickly
Leadership & Mindset
Growth-oriented, proactive, and execution-focused
Strong ownership mindset
Ability to balance strategy and execution
Location
Preferred: Mumbai
Open to candidates from other major pharma hubs (Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore)
Willingness to travel as required
