The National Legal Manager Non-Litigation will be responsible for leading and managing a large distributed legal operations team focused on property document validation, legal due diligence, and non-litigation compliance across India. The role demands strong real estate law knowledge, people management skills, process governance, and the ability to work closely with business and asset teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
- 15+ years of legal experience innon-litigation, preferably inhome finance, mortgage, LAP, NBFC, BFSI, or real estate.
- Strong exposure toproperty title verification, conveyancing, and real estate legal documentation.
- Proven experience in managing large geographies or high-volume legal processes.
Qualification
- LLB/LLMfrom a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in real estate law or conveyancing preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of state-wise property laws, stamp acts, and registration processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management ability (large distributed workforce).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- High ownership, governance mindset, and process orientation.
- Ability to travel when required for reviews, audits, or escalations.
