Role Summary
The National Head – Operations & Expansion will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of operations and growth across India. This role will drive execution, expansion into new regions, and overall business performance, acting as the central leader for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all India operations across multiple regions and states
- Drive expansion into new markets, including setup of new stations and business units
- Own overall P&L, including cost per shipment, manpower costs, and profitability
- Build and scale regional leadership teams, including Zonal Heads and Regional Managers
- Ensure consistent performance across locations in line with client SLAs and internal benchmarks
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in e-commerce and quick commerce
- Establish standard operating processes and drive operational discipline across regions
- Monitor key performance metrics and take corrective actions to improve efficiency
- Handle key client relationships, escalations, and strategic discussions
Candidate Profile
- 7–15 years of experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, supply chain operations
- Proven experience managing multi-state or national-level operations
- Experience in building and scaling operations or entering new markets
- Strong understanding of P&L management and cost optimization
- Exposure to quick commerce or hyperlocal delivery operations
- Strong leadership, execution, and problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
