About this Opportunity:
At Ericsson we are looking for a skilled MySQL Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in managing and maintaining MySQL environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and ensuring database security. This role involves working on high-availability systems and supporting mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
MySQL DB setup and configuration on Linux OS.
DB configuration for optimal performance, recommendation to Infra teams for improvements if required.
DB Cluster config, replication setup.
Data migration, able to write DML and DDL.
DB administration and load balancing.
Creation/Enhancements of procedures, functions, triggers, and schedulers
Performing backup, recovery, and migration operations
Mandatory skills and competences:
Working experience on MySQL and large relational databases.
Working experience in maintenance and recovery operations with MySQL
Working experience in database administration and optimization.
Knowledge About Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Schedulers.
MySQL Enterprise monitoring setup
Knowledge of Linux operating systems
Good to have:
Basic Knowledge in scripting Shell
Negotiation Skills and good cultural awareness.
Language skills: English
Knowledge on other DBs like Oracle & Postgres
Key Qualifications:
Education: B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
