MYP Language Acquisition - German

This is a full-time, on-site role for an MYP Language Acquisition - German teacher at Lady Andal School, located in Chennai. The role involves teaching German as a second language to students in alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering language acquisition through engaging activities and innovative teaching methods. The role also involves collaborating with faculty members and contributing to the holistic development of students.

• Proficiency in German language-related skills including Translation and Interpreting
• Strong Communication and Language Services abilities to facilitate effective teaching and learning
• Expertise in Writing, especially curriculum design and instructional material development
• Certifications or qualifications in teaching German as a foreign language
• Experience working within an IB curriculum framework is highly desirable
• Passion for fostering language acquisition and all-around student development
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative academic environment
