Job Title: MYP/DP Hindi Teacher

Job Summary:
Bloomingdale International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate MYP/DP Hindi Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Hindi language instruction in alignment with IB (International Baccalaureate) standards. The role involves fostering a positive learning environment, encouraging critical thinking, and supporting students in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Hindi lessons as per IB MYP and DP curriculum frameworks
- Develop and implement unit planners in accordance with IB standards and guidelines
- Present lessons in an interactive and comprehensive manner using visual and audio aids
- Facilitate inquiry-based learning and promote student participation
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance language proficiency
- Create and distribute learning materials such as notes, assignments, and assessments
- Assess, record, and report students progress with constructive feedback
- Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and learner-friendly classroom environment
- Conduct and manage online classes as per IB expectations when required
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, parents, and other stakeholders
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events
- Organize and support co-curricular and extracurricular activities related to language learning
- Continuously upgrade professional knowledge by attending IB workshops, seminars, and training sessions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hindi or relevant subject
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB (MYP/DP) curriculum
- Strong understanding of IB teaching methodologies and assessment practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage students and build a positive learning environment
- Proficient in classroom management and lesson planning
- Tech-savvy with experience in online teaching tools and platforms
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to professional ethics
