Murex MxMl

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain MxML interfaces for trade booking, market data, static data, payments, and reporting.
• Configure MxML Exchange workflows (inbound/outbound), including pre/post processing and validation rules.
• Manage the full lifecycle of interfaces: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. 
• Work with XML/XSLT, Murex Data model, dictionaries, and static data mappings.
• Monitor and troubleshoot MxML processing issues (real-time and batch), including message failures and delays.
• Interface with internal teams (FO/MO/BO), external vendors, and infrastructure groups to manage data flows and message delivery.
• Support system upgrades, data migrations, and interface regression testing.
• Maintain interface documentation, schemas, and workflow diagrams.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange (Murex 3.x). 
2. Deep understanding of MxML messaging, workflow configurations, gateways, and integration topologies.
3. Proficient in XML, XSLT, and scripting languages (Shell, Python or Perl). 
4. Good knowledge of Murex data model (trades, products, events, static/reference data).
5. Familiarity with message queues (e.g., IBM MQ, Solace), FTP/SFTP, SOAP/RESTAPIs.
6. Strong SQL and Oracle knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting. 
7. Experience with messaging formats like FpML, SWIFT, and custom schemas.
8. Solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes and front-to-back systemintegrations.
