Mumbai-Engineer Level 2-Quality Engineering

We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with solid experience in API and Web Testing, preferably within the Life Insurance domain working on Life Asia applications. The candidate will be responsible for comprehensive testing activities, including requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect management to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform requirement analysis and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute test cases across functional, regression, UI, retesting, smoke, and sanity testing phases.
• Conduct API testing and web application testing with precision and thoroughness.
• Manage the defect lifecycle: bug logging, tracking, and closure.
• Follow Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate testing status and issues clearly.
• Ensure thorough documentation of testing activities and defect reports.

Skills & Experience:

• 2 to 6 years of experience in manual testing, including API testing and web application testing.
• Prior experience in the Life Insurance domain, specifically with Life Asia platforms, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of testing techniques such as functionality, regression, UI, smoke, sanity, and retesting.
• Good understanding of STLC and SDLC processes.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills for clear interaction with team members and stakeholders.
