Artifex HR is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Video Editor for our client to join their creative team. In this role, you will assist in the editing, processing, and enhancement of video content for a variety of media platforms. You will collaborate closely with senior video editors and other production team members to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of video projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the video editing team with organizing and preparing raw footage for editing.
- Edit video clips, add transitions, and enhance audio/visual quality as required.
- Sync audio and video tracks, and perform basic color correction.
- Help maintain the media library, ensuring proper labeling, categorization, and storage.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as managing file backups and project organization.
- Assist in the creation of rough cuts and help with final video rendering.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and incorporate feedback.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with audio editing and sound design.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A creative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Previous experience in video editing or relevant coursework is a plus.
- Knowledge of graphic design or motion graphics is an added advantage.
