Responsibilities:
Platform Setup
- Assist in setting up OpenShift environments on AWS and Azure.
- Configure Flex Gateway via platform CI/CD setup.
- Implement network configurations to optimize performance.
- Set up options in AXA including Azure OpenShift, AWS OpenShift, SaaS solutions, POD (VMware Cloud), and Azure MPI (Managed Public IaaS).
APIM Support Tasks
- Manage the lifecycle of the Flex Gateway, including patching and upgrades.
- Oversee APIM certificates (TLS Context) and ensure timely renewal (200 certificates).
- Conduct backup and restore operations to maintain data integrity.
- Monitor platform capacity and performance.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities to maintain business continuity.
- Execute health checks and manage firewall change requests.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and manage incident resolution effectively.
CI/CD Management
- Utilize AXA's in-house CI/CD tool, Kino, based on Terraform, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
- Streamline deployment processes and enhance automation using CI/CD best practices.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Document recurring tasks and processes for knowledge transfer to the support team.
- Collaborate with the EIP team supporting OpenShift to exchange best practices.
- Focus on continuous improvement, emphasizing Terraform scripting and CI/CD practices.
