Job Description:

We are seeking aMicrosoft Purview/Report Developerwith 3+ years of experience to support and enhance enterprisedata governance, cataloging, and compliance solutionsusing Microsoft Purview. Well versed with Python Programing. The role involves working closely with data, security, and business teams in a cloud and hybrid data environment.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and configureMicrosoft Purviewfor data governance and compliance.
Set updata scans, classifications, sensitivity labels, and policies.
Integrate Purview withAzure data services(ADF, Synapse, ADLS, Azure SQL).
Maintainmetadata catalog, business glossary, and data lineage.
Automate tasks usingPurview APIs, PowerShell, or Python.
Troubleshoot Purview scanning, permissions, and connectivity issues.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and compliance teams.
Create basic documentation and support data stewardship activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience withMicrosoft Purviewor similar data governance tools.
Strong experience withAzure data platforms.
Good understanding ofdata governance concepts(metadata, lineage, classification).
Experience withdata security and compliance requirements.
Scripting experience (PowerShell / Python / REST APIs).
Experience incloud or hybrid environments.
