Microsoft Dynamics 365 Development Engineer
Platform Expertise
Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales).
Familiarity with Dataverse, model-driven apps, and Power Platform for extending
functionality.
Programming Languages
C# and .NET for server-side logic and plugins.
JavaScript for client-side customizations and UI enhancements.
UI Embedding
Experience embedding external UI components using iFrames, JavaScript SDKs, or Power
Apps.
Knowledge of responsive design and UX principles for seamless integration.
Data Management
Skills in OData, REST APIs, and Web API for CRUD operations and data sync.
OAuth & Authentication
Implement OAuth 2.0 for secure integration with Dynamics and third-party apps.
Configure Azure App Registrations, client IDs, secrets, and delegated permissions.
Security Best Practices
Support MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) and role-based access control.
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity management.
Seamless UI Interactions
UI/UX Design
Ability to design intuitive interfaces that blend Dynamics UI with embedded components.
Familiarity with NextJS, React, or similar frameworks for external UI development.
Integration Patterns
Understand UI integration vs. data integration and when to use each for optimal user
experience.
Workato API Integration
API & Webhooks
Implement real-time event processing using Workato's webhook support.
Handle authentication tokens and error retries for robust integrations.
