We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to support our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects
- Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer to:
- Debug existing AX customizations
- Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL
- Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration
- Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality
- Create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later)
- Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization
- Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts.
- Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.
- Must be available to work during 11:30 AM IST 8.30 PM IST
