About The Role
Medico Hub is hiring an experienced on-site Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (MS/DGO) for our Jodhpur facility. This is a hands-on clinical role combining outpatient care, inpatient management, operative gynaecology and emergency obstetric services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OPD and inpatient obstetrics & gynaecology care including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal management.
- Perform and lead obstetric and gynaecological surgeries—elective and emergency Caesarean sections, laparoscopic procedures and operative gynaecology.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and acute obstetric emergencies with timely decision-making and escalation to multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nursing staff and trainees in labour ward protocols, surgical technique and perioperative care.
- Oversee fetal monitoring, newborn stabilization and coordinate with neonatal teams for timely referral or escalation.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation, adherence to hospital protocols, infection control and participation in morbidity & mortality reviews.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) or DGO
- Registration with the National Medical Commission / State Medical Council
- Proven competence in Caesarean section and emergency obstetric care
- Proficiency in laparoscopic gynaecological procedures
- Skilled in obstetric ultrasound and intrapartum fetal monitoring (CTG/NST)
- Certification or training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation
Preferred
- Experience in colposcopy and OPD-based minor procedures
- Exposure to high-volume tertiary or private hospital settings handling busy labour wards
- Training in emergency obstetric life support or maternal-fetal medicine exposure

Location & Work Type
On-site role based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Candidates must be available for hands-on clinical shifts, emergency roster and outpatient clinic hours.
