Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role located in Mumbai with some work-from-home flexibility. The MS BI Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining MS BI systems, performing regular database administration tasks, creating and optimizing dashboards, and troubleshooting technical issues. The professional will also analyze data to generate insights and support key business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Database Administration and Troubleshooting
- Proficiency in creating and managing Dashboards
- Excellent Analytical Skills and expertise in Data Analytics
- Relevant experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence (MS BI) tools
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

- Install and test SSIS Instance.
- Install and test SSAS Instance.
- Install, configure and test SSRS Instance and Power BI.
- Understand onSCOM agents on BI Server.
- Configure Monitoring.

- Applying CU, SP, HF on BI Components.
- Monitoring
- Check & Resolve errors.
- Backup of components

- Monthly metric reporting
- Storage & Memory for SSAS Multidimensional Instances.
- Storage & Memory for SSAS Tabular Instances.
- Storage & Memory for SSAS Tabular Instances.
- Scheduling of SSIS package execution based CTRL-M.
- Perform applicative deliveries on BI Platform
- Perform Delivery on ASSEMBLY (automated operation by CTRL-M).
- Perform Delivery on PRE-PROD (manual operation).
- Perform Delivery on PROD (manual operation).
- Define Control-M Jobs
- Create & Configure Control-M Job for SSIS package Execution.
- Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot issue on performance > First level of assessment.
- Troubleshoot issue with MOE > Second level of assessment.
- Work with DBA for DB optimization (STG, DWH, DMT).
- Identify Resources consuming queries.
- Optimization
- Optimize Instance settings.
- Perform Migration
- Organize Software Upgrade & Migration.
- Perform Middleware Standardization and Capacity Planning.
