In this role you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with team members/designers to provide inputs and recommendations for storyboard
- Create motion graphics that are relevant and engaging, propose practical solutions during scoping exercise
- Engage in continuous learning of motion design, typography, and other best practices
- Review the script / instructions to better understand the client's requirements
- Cut video sequences effectively to ensure the scenes are seamless and flow logically
- Perform all editing work including inserting music, sound effects, titling, etc
- Maintain a clean, organized work-flow to facilitate smooth handovers
- Organize and assemble video segments, images and typography to deliver continuous and sequential story of specified length
- Apply effective and timely project management tools to handle multiple concurrent projects
- Work with file formats, encoders and compressors to provide the optimal file (size vs quality) to clients
- Continuously build personal knowledge of animation design, typography, color theory, color grading and best practices
Requirements for this role include:
- 1- 4 yrs of work experience in motion graphics studios/ad agencies/design studios
- Must have exposure to in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve and Sound Forge
- Understand the end requirement and good command over film grammar is a good to have
- Should work with designers and create interesting videos, use existing video/ audio clips, images, vector graphics, titling, transitions, overlays and color correction
- Good sense of timing and visual awareness with high level of attention to detail
- Practical tool knowledge of compressors, encoders, media formats
- Should be able to integrate required assets and ensure all projects are developed as per the instructions provided
- Ability to work in flexible schedule during day, night and weekend shifts
