Motion Graphic Designer

Melon Studio is looking for a creative and driven Motion Graphic Designer to support our growing digital content and branding efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a solid grasp of motion principles, and an understanding of current short-form video trends across social platforms.

You will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to design engaging, scroll-stopping motion graphics that align with brand goals and campaign objectives.

Freshers are welcome to apply! Candidates with prior animation or visual design experience may be eligible for additional incentives..

• Design and animate motion graphics for reels, short-form videos, ads, and branded content
• Create engaging visual elements including typography animations, transitions, icons, and effects
• Adapt static designs into dynamic motion assets
• Ensure smooth pacing, visual clarity, and strong storytelling through motion
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to understand briefs and refine concepts
• Stay updated with motion design and reel trends on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and other social channels
• Manage timelines, revisions, and final deliverables efficiently
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all motion assets

• Basic understanding of motion design principles, animation workflows, and visual storytelling
• Strong awareness of social media trends and short-form content formats
• Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly
• A portfolio or sample work showcasing motion graphic or animation skills
• Academic projects, internships, or personal work are acceptable

Bonus: Experience in video editing or videography eligible for incentive-based compensation

• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro (basic integration with motion assets)
• Motion typography and animation fundamentals
• Visual composition and timing
• Basic colour sense and sound sync awareness
• Attention to detail and creative judgment
• Strong communication and time-management skills
