Motion Graphic Designer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a visually driven, technically sharp Graphic Designer and Motion Graphics Specialist to join our Bangalore creative studio. In this role, you will produce compelling static and animated content for a diverse portfolio of agency clients — from social media creatives and brand collateral to full motion campaigns, reels, and kinetic typography. You will be central to our creative output and expected to push design quality forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Conceptualise and design high-quality visual assets for social media, digital advertising, presentations, print, and brand identity projects.

•   Create motion graphics, animated reels, short-form video content, explainer animations, and kinetic typography for client campaigns.

•   Work closely with Social Media Managers and Strategists to translate briefs into visually compelling, on-brand, platform-ready output.

•   Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across multiple client accounts, ensuring design consistency across all touchpoints.

•   Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet campaign deadlines without compromising craft.

•   Conduct visual research, mood-boarding, and concept exploration to bring fresh ideas to each client brief.

•   Stay current with design trends, platform specifications (aspect ratios, file sizes, formats), and emerging creative tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

•   Minimum 1.5 years of professional graphic design and motion graphics experience, ideally within a digital agency or content studio.

•   A strong portfolio demonstrating both static design and motion work, with evidence of variety across formats and industries.

•   Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

•   Solid understanding of design principles: hierarchy, grid systems, colour theory, typography, and composition.

•   Working knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression standards, and platform export specifications.

•   Ability to ideate quickly and translate creative concepts into polished deliverables under tight timelines.

•   Attention to detail and a high personal bar for creative quality.

AI TOOL PROFICIENCY — MANDATORY

• All candidates must demonstrate active, hands-on proficiency with AI tools relevant to design and motion graphics production. This is a non-negotiable requirement and will be assessed through portfolio review and practical tasks.
• AI Image Generation: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, or DALL-E for rapid concept exploration and asset creation
• AI Video & Motion: Runway ML, Pika Labs, or CapCut AI for short-form video and animated content production
• AI Enhancement: Adobe Sensei, Topaz AI, or equivalent for upscaling, retouching, background removal, and post-production
• Generative Design: Proficiency with generative fill, text-to-image, and AI-assisted layout tools within existing Adobe and Canva workflows
• Workflow Integration: Ability to incorporate AI tools meaningfully into daily design processes — not just experimentally, but productively
