We are looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Motion Graphic Designer who can bring ideas to life through compelling visuals, storytelling, and animation. This role goes beyond design. You will play a key role in translating complex B2B concepts into engaging video content that drives product understanding, marketing impact, and brand recall.
Core Skills and Expertise
- Strong foundation in layout, composition, typography, and color theory
- Expertise in visual storytelling, narrative construction, and storyboarding
- Deep understanding of the 12 Principles of Animation such as timing, easing, anticipation, and arcs
- Ability to simplify complex technical and B2B concepts into clear visual narratives
- Strong sense of pacing, transitions, and motion dynamics
- Knowledge of image formats, video formats, compression, and optimization for different platforms
- Basic understanding of lighting, framing, and camera movement for podcast video shoots and recording
B2B Video Creation Experience (Must Have)
Hands-on experience creating high-impact videos across the full marketing and product lifecycle:
- Product demo videos including UI walkthroughs, feature highlights, and workflows
- Explainer videos that break down complex solutions into simple narratives
- Use case and customer journey videos covering problem to solution to outcome storytelling
- Marketing launch videos including feature launches, announcements, and campaigns
- Sales enablement videos to support pitches and product positioning
- Podcast video editing and repurposing including long-form to short-form clips and reels
- Thought leadership and brand videos including founder stories and point-of-view content
- Ability to tailor content for LinkedIn, YouTube, website, and paid channels
Tools and Software Expertise
- Adobe After Effects with strong motion fundamentals, expressions is a plus
- Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, sequencing, and audio sync
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset creation
- Cavalry or similar 2D animation tools
- Working knowledge of at least one 3D tool such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
- Experience with UI animation workflows such as Figma to After Effects
AI and Modern Creative Tools
- Experience using AI tools for content production such as Runway ML, Kling, Higgsfield, or similar
- Ability to integrate AI into workflows for ideation, asset generation, and rapid iteration
What You Will Own
- End-to-end creation of motion content from concept to storyboard to animation to final delivery
- Collaboration with product, marketing, and leadership teams to shape narratives
- Translation of product features into compelling visual stories
- Creation of high-quality, brand-consistent video assets at scale
- Optimization of videos for performance including engagement, retention, and clarity
