Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end motion and video production from concept, scripting and storyboarding to animation, editing, sound, and final delivery
- Create social-first video and motion assets for platforms like LinkedIn including short-form explainers, vertical videos, and animations optimized per channel
- Develop thought leadership video content by transforming expert and executive insights into narrative-driven videos and visual frameworks
- Produce performance and advertising video assets using stock, in-house footage, UI captures, and AI-generated visuals with multiple variants for testing
- Repurpose long-form content such as webinars, interviews, events, and case studies into short-form clips and summaries
- Define and evolve motion brand systems including transitions, animation principles, pacing, and templates
- Collaborate with stakeholders across content, marketing, and sales to translate business needs into high-impact visuals
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to motion design standards and best practices
- Interpret strategic briefs into motion concepts and storyboards
- Design and animate 2D and 3D motion graphics, typographic animations, UI/UX flows, and illustrative sequences
- Edit and assemble video content including narrative structuring, footage selection, transitions, sound design, and color grading
- Create complete video packages including intros, outros, overlays, and thumbnails
- Work with AI-generated assets and integrate them into production-ready video outputs
- Build and maintain reusable templates, presets, and motion libraries
- Stay up to date with motion design trends, platform updates, and AI tools, proposing new ideas and formats
- Manage timelines, priorities, and delivery expectations across multiple projects
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in motion design and video editing, preferably in B2B tech, SaaS, fintech, or digital product environments
- Proven ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of motion and video projects
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Experience creating performance-driven video content for platforms such as LinkedIn
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to non-design stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with experience experimenting with new formats and AI tools
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Figma
- Understanding of AI-powered video and motion workflows including tools like Adobe Firefly and similar technologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience with sound design tools such as Adobe Audition or equivalent
- Experience with encoding tools such as Adobe Media Encoder or equivalent
- Familiarity with render engines such as Redshift or Octane
- Experience with AI tools such as Runway, Gen-2, Pika, Topaz, Recraft, or similar
- Strong portfolio demonstrating B2B storytelling and motion design projects
- Experience presenting detailed case studies including development process and performance metrics
