Motion Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities

-         Design cutting edge motion graphics for wide array of video deliverables of which some may be integrated overlays with live action, and others may be full-scale animated videos or both combined.

-         Work with instructional designers and other team members to understand the project scope and objectives.

-         Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video creation.

-         Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas with the ability to produce concept sketches.

-         Create initial storyboard draft of the video to present to team partners for feedback and approval before beginning to create the video.

-         Research and analyze some of the best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.

-         Do basic video editing, which includes analyzing the raw footage, trimming and putting together the required pieces, inserting voice-over, sound effects, music, and graphics (overlays).

Qualities:

-         Deep understanding of the principles of animation and easing

-         Ability to comprehend and uphold Deloitte brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style

-         Follow and adhere to team specific project life cycle

-         Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines

-         Detail-oriented individual, who reviews his/her work carefully. Self-quality control is key

-         Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

-         Professional demeanor with high degree of comfort speaking with internal clients

Skills and Qualifications:

-         2–6 years of motion graphics/designing/editing experience for digital and social platforms

-         Must have a strong portfolio to showcase your rich experience.

-         Extensive knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop)

-         Experience on video editing skills using Adobe Premiere and Audition

-         Knowledge on Cinema 4D is desired

-         A Bachelor's degree
