About the role

We are looking for a motion design / animation intern to assist our product and content teams by creating engaging motion-design backed marketing and explainer content. You'll be responsible for enhancing our products and features with thoughtfully crafted content, along with making our products more accessible with tutorials and user education materials.

Principle Responsibilities

Design and animate short videos to showcase product features, UX flows, and educational tutorials.

Enhance marketing events across our digital platforms and physical storefronts with motion design.

Assist in strengthening the brand language and storytelling with a strong and consistent motion design language.

Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate concepts into motion.

Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining high attention to detail.

Education and Experience

We're looking for a current student or recent graduate specifically in the field of animation with a passion for crafting motion-driven experiences. You should be excited about taking ownership of projects and moving ideas from concept to execution.

Functional Competencies

Strong visual design skills with deep understanding of design principles, colour theory, and layout.

Demonstrated experience of core motion principles, timing, pacing, and storytelling.

Understanding and experience of photography and videography fundamentals - framing, lighting, camera movement, and shot composition - to enhance motion design and storytelling.

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Proficiency in Blender or Cinema 4D with understanding of materials and lighting in 3D space is preferred.

Experience in creating Lottie animations is a plus.

Experience in Figma as a prototyping tool.

Familiarity with educational or product content.

Comfortable working quickly, taking feedback, and iterating fast.

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate and convey ideas and concepts.

Stipend - INR 35,000/- per month
