Role description:
This is an on-site role for a Motion Design Intern at VOLUME. The role involves supporting the creation of motion graphics, animations, and visual assets across multiple communication channels including digital, social media, and audiovisual platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing motion concepts and visual directions based on client briefs.
- Create 2D/3D motion graphics, animated assets, transitions, and basic visual effects.
- Adapt and resize motion creatives for multiple platforms and formats.
- Implement revisions based on feedback from senior designers and creative leads.
- Maintain organised project files, asset libraries, and version control.
- Stay updated with motion design trends, tools, and techniques.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
Qualifications:
- Working understanding of motion design principles, animation timing, typography in motion, and composition.
- Degree, diploma, or relevant certification in Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Communication, or related field.
- A portfolio/showreel demonstrating motion work, academic projects, or freelance/personal projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage timelines, and take direction constructively.
