Job Title: Motherboard Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Motherboard Engineer to design, develop, and test high-performance motherboards for computers and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PCB design, circuit analysis, BIOS configuration, and system integration to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop motherboard architecture and schematics using CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Cadence).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, and QA) for hardware integration.
  • Conduct circuit simulations, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI) analysis.
  • Oversee prototype development and testing, identifying and resolving hardware issues.
  • Work on BIOS and firmware configuration for compatibility and system optimization.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for design specifications and testing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety and EMC/EMI standards.
  • Provide technical support during production and post-launch stages.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in motherboard or PCB design and development.
  • Strong understanding of CPU, chipset, and memory interfaces.
  • Proficiency with PCB design and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of high-speed design (PCIe, DDR, USB, SATA, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with server or industrial motherboard design.
  • Familiarity with firmware/BIOS development.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes (SMT, DFM, DFT).
