Mortgage Underwriter

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Mortgage Underwriter. The Mortgage Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and approving mortgage loans by assessing the financial background of applicants. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing loan applications and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and making informed decisions on loan approvals. The role also involves frequent collaboration with loan officers, real estate professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient underwriting process.

Qualifications:

At least 2+ years of relevant experience in underwriting.

General knowledge of FHA and VA guidelines is a plus.

Well versed with different types of income calculation.

Having sound knowledge of all 4 Cs of Underwriting.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Flexible working in night shift.
