Sr. Underwriter - US Mortgage

Responsibilities:

• Perform live underwriting of US residential mortgage files in compliance with investor and company guidelines.
• Review and validate borrower documentation including income, assets, credit, and collateral.
• Assess loan risk and ensure adherence to underwriting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with processors, loan officers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth loan processing.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and turnaround time in all underwriting decisions.
• Keep updated with the latest mortgage industry rules and compliance changes.
