Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate Moodle Mobile App Developer with experience in building and customizing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining mobile applications connected to the Moodle LMS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications integrated with Moodle LMS
- Customize and extend Moodle Mobile App features as per business requirements
- Work with REST APIs / Web Services for Moodle integration
- Develop cross-platform apps using frameworks like Ionic Framework, React Native, or native technologies
- Collaborate with backend teams (PHP/Moodle developers) for seamless integration
- Implement UI/UX designs and ensure responsive layouts
- Debug, test, and optimize mobile applications for performance and scalability
- Publish apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Handle app updates, versioning, and bug fixes
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Android (Java/Kotlin)
- iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
- OR cross-platform frameworks (Ionic / React Native / Flutter)
- Experience with Moodle Web Services & APIs
- Basic knowledge of PHP and Moodle architecture
- Familiarity with JSON and REST API integration
- Experience with Git/version control systems
- Understanding of the mobile app lifecycle and deployment
Preferred Skills
- Experience customizing Moodle plugins or themes
- Knowledge of offline sync in mobile apps (important for LMS apps)
- Familiarity with push notifications (Firebase/APNS)
- Experience with UI frameworks like Angular (for Ionic apps)
- Understanding of LMS workflows (courses, quizzes, assignments, grades)
