Monitoring Engineer

We are looking for a Monitoring Engineer to oversee cloud application monitoring with basic SQL knowledge. The ideal candidate should have experience in monitoring activities, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in monitoring cloud applications.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to create detailed functional documents and SOPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Educational Qualification:

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor data and job processes.
• Follow predefined schedules to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Review file receipt patterns and plan monitoring activities accordingly.
• Maintain and update logs promptly.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and rule-based runbooks.
• Communicate with business teams regarding file delays or unavailability and coordinate resolution.
• Take complete ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish.
• Identify, report, and support resolution of process issues.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Provide timely updates to customers, project managers, and team members on data delays or process improvements.
• Flexible to work evening shifts and provide weekend support when required (extra days and shifts will be compensated).
