Role: Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 8+ Yrs.

Your tasks:

As Senior Backend Software Engineer with a strong background in Java / Spring Boot, you will be part of a Product Engineering team.

We are looking for engineers with a passion for programming and a product mindset.

Responsibilities include:

• Build backends for customer facing products in Java / Spring Boot.
• Interact with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering team members, and QA to build high quality applications.

Qualifications:

. University degree in Computer Science or comparable and at least 8 years of experience working as Software Engineer

. 8+ years hand-on working experience with Java, JUnit, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, PostgreSQL, REST, OpenAPI, and AWS SDK, experience with other programming languages is a plus

. 8+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, in particular: IAM, VPC, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, S3, ECR, AuroraDB, CloudWatch, AWS CLI

. AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS Solutions Architect preferred

. 8+ years of hands-on experience with packaging applications into Docker containers and deploying them into environments on AWS

. Very good knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD)

. Experience with authentication/authorization, e.g., AD, Azure AD, SAML, JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC)

. Working experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC), in particular authentication, authorization, and APIs

. Experience creating LLMs, AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP)

. Strong understanding of data structures

. Understanding of security best practices for web applications

. Experience withGitHub, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory

. Experience in Agile workflows, in particular Scrum, ideally SAFe

. Outspoken team player with a pro-active mindset

. Fluent English is required, additional language skills are a plus
