Lead design and development of engine/transmission mounting systems and suspension bushes for PVBU projects.
Conduct 6-DOF analysis and propose mounting solutions to meet cost, weight, and PAT performance targets.
Benchmark and select mount/bush types suitable for performance and durability requirements.
Prepare RFI/RFQ and SOR documentation.
Ensure design for manufacturability and serviceability.
Monitor development progress with validation agencies and coordinate with suppliers during the design process.
Utilize PLM system, BOM structures, DMU environment, and Pro-E proficiency for design and analysis.
Evaluate NVH performance related to mounting systems and bushes, including key on/off, idle, tip-in/back-out, rattle, boom, impact harshness, and ride compliance.
Drive adoption of advanced technologies, including hydromount, hydrobush, and active mount solutions.
Apply knowledge of rubber/elastomer behavior to improve durability and performance.
Mentor and develop team members, promoting technical excellence and innovation.
