Educational Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech (Any Discipline)
- Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA
Key Responsibilities:
Market Insights & Analysis:
- Prepare product concepts aligned with MSIL model plans and competitive strategies.
- Analyze competitor strategy within vehicle segments to plan model changes for Mid-cycle Change (MC) or Full Model Change (FMC).
- Monitor India's regulatory roadmap and plan countermeasures for upcoming model updates.
Benchmarking & Consumer Analysis:
- Track short- and long-term strategies of other OEMs and create benchmarking reports.
- Conduct consumer trend analysis using secondary data sources to support future product direction.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (MSIL and SMC) to ensure on-time execution of all activities as per the planned model development schedule.
Competency Requirements:
Functional / Technical:
Basic understanding of:
- Automotive industry landscape, vehicle segments, and Indian customer profiles.
- Model development processes and associated timelines.
- Emerging trends in product design, vehicle body types, and technologies.
- Data analytics, including consumer voice interpretation and competitive intelligence.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of business portfolio and financial analysis of OEMs is a plus.
