About the Role

As a Mobile Developer (React Native) at Jetbro, you will build and maintain production-grade mobile applications used in real-world, operationally critical environments. This role requires strong fundamentals in mobile development, clear thinking, and a preference for stable, maintainable solutions over quick hacks.

You will work closely with backend engineers, designers, and senior developers to translate requirements into reliable mobile experiences. Alongside core development work, you are expected to use modern AI productivity tools responsibly to speed up development, debugging, and learning while retaining full ownership of the code you ship.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
  
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, functional mobile interfaces
  
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services
  
• Manage application state and data flow effectively
  
• Debug and resolve UI, performance, and device-specific issues
  
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
  
• Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams
  
• Use AI tools where appropriate to improve productivity and code quality
  
• Take ownership of assigned features and ensure they are production-ready
  
  

Requirements

Key Skills (Must Have)

• Strong working knowledge of React Native
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  
• Good understanding of React concepts (components, hooks, state, props)
  
• Experience consuming REST APIs
  
• Understanding of mobile UI principles for Android and iOS
  
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  
• Ability to debug issues and reason through problems independently
  
• Experience using AI coding or productivity tools to assist with development and learning
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Expo
  
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
  
• Basic exposure to Android or iOS native conceptsExperience with mobile app builds and deployments
  
• Awareness of mobile performance and optimization basics
  
• Interest in improving workflows using modern developer tools
