Mobile Automation with Appium

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience using Appium and Rest Assured. You will be responsible for building automation frameworks from scratch, working on both mobile and API automation, and integrating them into a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and GitHub. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, experience in an Agile environment, and a solid understanding of the financial domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build mobile automation frameworks from scratch using Appium, Java, and BDD Cucumber.
• Perform API automation using Rest Assured and Java.
• Engage in all automation-related activities, from feasibility studies to framework handover.
• Utilize mobile device clouds such as Browserstack, Perfecto, or pCloudy.
• Work within an AGILE based testing and development environment.
• Implement CI/CD processes using Jenkins and GITHUB or Bitbucket.
• Apply strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities to resolve issues.
• Maintain test cases and track bugs using Jira/Confluence.
• Interact effectively with stakeholders and internal team members.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Mobile automation using Appium.
• Experience in API Automation using Rest Assured, Java, and BDD Cucumber.
• Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch.
• Exposure to Mobile device clouds like Browserstack, Perfecto, pCloudy, etc.
• Strong skills in automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and BDD Cucumber.
• Good working experience in AGILE based testing, Web and API automation Projects.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins and GITHUB or Bitbucket.
• Strong knowledge of the Financial domain, including banking, open banking, wealth, personal banking, or retail banking.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
• Experience in Jira/Confluence for test case and bug management.
• Strong knowledge of the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) lifecycle.
• Good communication skills.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
