Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar).
- Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc. ).
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and device coverage through device farms (BrowserStack, Lambda test, etc).
- Conduct performance and stability testing for mobile apps (JMeter, Gatling, Firebase Performance, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
- Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers to deliver high-quality releases.
- Mentor junior SDETs and QE engineers, reviewing their code and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging tools, frameworks, and trends in mobile automation and quality engineering.
