Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for mobile applications using Appium
  • Perform Android mobile automation testing with a focus on stability and scalability
  • Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks
  • Execute manual testing including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects while collaborating closely with development teams
  • Analyze test results and provide clear reports on test coverage and quality metrics
  • Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test planning and strategy

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Appium for Android automation
  • Proficiency in Java for writing automation scripts
  • Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of manual testing concepts and methodologies
  • Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD integration for automated test execution
  • Knowledge of version control tools (Git or similar)
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
