Job Description

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 10 or more years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including extensive hands-on manual testing of customer-facing applications.

• 5 or more years of hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

• Strong knowledge of mobile testing practices, including device and operating system compatibility, responsive layouts, permissions, notifications, interruptions, background and foreground behavior, and changing network conditions.

• Proven ability to develop clear test plans, test scenarios, test cases, exploratory test charters, regression suites, and requirements traceability.

• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools to document execution results, report issues, support defect triage, and communicate release risks.

• Experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications using physical devices and iOS and Android simulators or emulators.

• Acts as a self-starter by independently planning testing, identifying quality risks early, investigating issues thoroughly, and improving manual test coverage and processes while working effectively with cross functional teams

. • Hands-on experience with iterative and Agile Scrum methods, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to remain effective under pressure while maintaining productivity, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond with urgency to evolving business and project needs while maintaining high-quality results.

• Consistently demonstrates a commitment to At Home policies and procedures, including organizational standards, quality requirements, security guidelines, and established operational processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain defects, quality risks, and business impacts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.



Roles & Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed manual test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and checklists for At Home iOS and Android mobile applications.

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, exploratory, usability, and end-to-end testing and document results with clear supporting evidence.

• Test across supported iOS and Android devices, operating system versions, screen sizes, orientations, permissions, and network conditions to confirm consistent customer experience.

• Validate customer journeys such as sign-in, product search and browsing, product details, cart, checkout, payments, promotions, loyalty, order status, cancellations, and returns.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX and UI partners, developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to clarify requirements and ensure complete test coverage

. • Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design discussions to identify usability, functional, integration, and data risks early in the development lifecycle.

• Log defects with complete reproduction steps, expected and actual results, device and build details, and supporting screenshots or videos; participate in triage and verify fixes through targeted regression testing.

• Partner with At Home business stakeholders to plan, lead, and conduct User Acceptance Testing, validate business requirements, and support final approval.

• Perform production validation and post-deployment smoke testing of critical retail workflows after releases and communicate issues promptly.
