Role (Standardized title): MIS Executive
About The Opportunity
We are hiring an MIS Executive to own operational reporting, dashboarding and data integrity across finance, operations and delivery teams. This is an on-site role for candidates based in India who can translate raw data into accurate, automated insights and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve KPIs and process efficiency.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, validate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports and executive dashboards for finance, operations and sales.
- Design and maintain automated reporting pipelines using Excel, SQL and BI tools to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
- Reconcile data across ERP, CRM and internal systems; identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and root-cause investigations to support business reviews and leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, operations and product teams to define KPI definitions, report requirements and SLA-driven reporting cadences.
- Continuously improve reporting templates and processes; implement best practices for version control, documentation and data governance.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven expertise in MIS reporting and dashboard creation using Excel and SQL.
- Strong hands-on experience with Excel features: PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for visual dashboards.
- Experience working with ERP systems and reconciling cross-system data.
Preferred
- Experience with automation tools (VBA, Python scripting or RPA) to streamline reporting.
- Prior exposure to Google Sheets and cloud-based reporting workflows.
