Job Description

Data Management & Reporting

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review and decision-making
  • Collect, compile, and validate data from various departments and systems
  • Maintain and update databases ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Create comprehensive dashboards and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools

Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actuals vs. targets
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions
  • Conduct root cause analysis for performance deviations

System Administration

  • Manage and maintain MIS tools and software systems
  • Ensure proper backup and security of data
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to reporting systems
  • Coordinate with IT for system upgrades and enhancements

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting tasks
  • Standardize report formats and templates across the organization
  • Streamline data collection processes to improve efficiency
  • Document MIS processes and create user manuals

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with department heads to understand reporting requirements
  • Present findings and reports to senior management
  • Train team members on MIS tools and reporting standards
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests within agreed timelines

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies
  • Perform regular data quality audits
  • Maintain version control and archival of historical reports
  • Follow established protocols for data handling and reporting
