Experience:

Millwork/Woodworking/Interior Furniture Design: Must have substantial experience in these areas.

Hands-on Experience: practical experience in millwork is essential.

Technical Skills:

Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD.

Additional Tools: Experience with Microvellum and Cabinet Vision, Planswift is a plus.

Communication:

Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders

Millwork Design Engineer produces 2D and 3D shop drawings of Interior Furniture /Woodworking /Millwork for Production/Construction purposes.

Working closely with leads and Project manager.

The drafter translates concepts and ideas into precise and accurate technical shop drawings.

Independently review the architectural input/Sketches and specifications, and create detailed 2D/3D millwork shop drawings.

In-depth review of the architectural drawing set and scope of work to create a detailed query document, clearly outlining assumptions, considerations, missing information, and specifications.

Communicate the design concepts, specifications, and technical information to Lead and project Manager.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Review and revise drawings based on feedback from Lead and project Manager or other stakeholders.

Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards of drawings and design documentation.

Perform quality checks to verify dimensions, materials, and other details.

Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and other relevant records.

Create and manage drawing libraries for standard details and components.
